Terry: More goals please
4:02pm Thursday 12th March 2009
TERRY Murphy has asked top scorer Dave Tasker to fire Town to the title.
The Witches’ boss welcomed the front runner back from neighbours Winsford United at the weekend, only to see Middlewich stumble to a draw at home to Trafford Reserves.
Two precious points dropped, according to Murphy.
“We had enough chances to win two games,” he said.
“There was a lack of killer instinct in front of goal and even Dave himself will tell you he should have got on the scoresheet but, he wasn’t the only one who was wasteful.”
