Middlewich's MP defies party to support petition against gay marriage
10:40am Wednesday 22nd February 2012
MIDDLEWICH'S MP is supporting a petition to block Government plans to allow gay couples to tie the knot.
Tory Fiona Bruce has defied her party by lending her name to the Coalition for Marriage.
Prime Minister David Cameron is urging his party to back proposals for same sex marriages by 2015.
It has been reported that mother-of-two Mrs Bruce wants to maintain the traditional institution to give children 'security and stability'.
The Guardian would like to hear your views.
We would especially like to hear from gay people who could be affected.
