Investigation after tipper truck set on fire in Booth Lane, Middlewich

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the front of a house in Middlewich was smashed up and a truck was set alight.
Officers and firefighters were called to a house in Booth Lane at about 3am on Thursday, January 26.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “On arrival officers discovered a considerable amount of damage to the front of a house.
“No one was injured as a result of the damage. Shortly afterwards a yellow tipper truck was found burnt out nearby.”
Fire crews from Middlewich and Sandbach used hose reels to extinguish the blaze.
